Rainy Days

Even though basically all year round it's sunny, there are days when it's cloudy and rainy. These days, depending on what time of the year they are, tend to be cool or hot. Despite what you may think having a hot and humid day after the rain is not very pleasant. When it's cool and breezy, be prepared to bring a jacket. The weather usually varies throughout the day but in such a way that it always end up warm in some way unless it's "winter". Winter for the Bahamas is basically in the 60's (Farenheit) for the lows and 90's for the highs.

These rainy days can be relaxing, though. Being in Starbucks with relaxing music in the background while sipping on a frappuccino is calming. Despite the minor complaints about the weather, I love the rain and being able to snuggle up with friends. When visiting the Bahamas, even if the sun isn't shining, there are still plenty of things to do, especially if you're an introvert. Reading, watching movies, enjoying the company of friends, enjoying the scenery and even running in the rain at a park. Never take travelling for granted, even if the weather isn't "perfect".
